Jim and Michelle are friends that we met when we first arrived at Oak Alley RV Resort back in 2021. We had a corner lot and right across the street were cement sites. Jim and Michelle were parked in one of the cement sites. It was so funny that we met Jim and Michelle in Florida because they lived 20 minutes from our home base in Ohio. What was really funny is we stayed at the same RV resort in Ohio. What a coincidence. They became our good friends. Jim and Michelle stay at Oak Alley RV Resort every winter. A few days ago they drove their Class C Motorhome from their site at OA in Webster Florida to the KOA here in Fort Pierce, 15 minutes from our home.
They came to visit us and I wanted to spend the day with them so Hubby drove me to the KOA. I very much enjoyed my day with them.
We started the day having lunch at a place called The Funky Cuda. The restaurant only had seats outside and we were lucky the weather was perfect. The food was very good. They had tasty vegan options.

I told my sister, the next time she comes to Florida, I am taking her to The Funky Cuda for both food and entertainment.

The restaurant has live music seven days a week. The singer sang great songs and he was not super loud so we could still have conversations at our table.

After lunch, we found an area that had a lot of restaurants and gift stores. Jim dropped Michelle and I off near the stores and Michelle and I did some shopping.

We found a nice coffee shop called Old Florida Coffee.

They had Oat Milk so I had a Iced Mocha Latte and Michelle had an Iced Tea. She does not like coffee but she does like the smell of coffee.

After we were done shopping, Jim came to meet with us and enjoyed walking around the Marina.
Here is some information about Fort Pierce City Marina.
The Fort Pierce City Marina is a publicly owned and operated marina that features a state-of-the-art dock system, located on Florida’s Treasure Coast in historic downtown Fort Pierce and is only a short distance from the Bahamas.
Established October 28, 1937, the city marina stands the test of time and continues to improve with its, first-in-state, Eco-friendly, Storm Protection System and improved yacht-friendly navigation.
The Marina is open to the public and provides all the amenities of a home including free Wi-Fi. Centrally located downtown, we are within walking distance of the library, shops, galleries, restaurants, theater, museums, parks, events, and home to many fishing tournaments year round.

Thank you Jim and Michelle for a fun day. It did get a little chilly in the afternoon and it is always chilly the closer you get to the Ocean.

A day well spent—memories were made, calories were consumed. Thank goodness we got to walk around the shopping area and the marina.
