I’m looking forward to this summer. It took me a while to figure out where we were spending the summer travel days until Hubby suggested the Finger Lake area. When reserving at a resort area, it is wise to reserve months in advance. I was worried I didn’t start to reserve soon enough, but I guess I got lucky.
This summer’s travels will include five campgrounds/resorts and each one is less than four hours from our home base so we won’t be spending outrageous amounts for fuel.
I have a one week stay reserved at a resort called Finger Lakes RV Resort in New York towards the end of August.
Most of the RV resorts in the north are seasonable. Finger Lakes RV Resort is Seasonally Closed. I reserved my site online. I did an in-depth research for this campground, reading all of the policies and reviews. I needed to make sure they do not have a two dog limit.
I read on one of the reviews, this resort is new as of May of 2022. I’ll be very interested to see how nice it is.

Plenty of amenities. I read this resort is in walking distance to 2 wineries and many more just up the road. Since Hubby does not like wineries, you know I’ll be taking a walk.
This is a small resort with only 61 sites. They have both pull-thru sites and back-in sites. I reserved a pull-thru.
